I somehow missed the release of the Pinched trailer, but it’s been online for months now. Pinched is a short written and directed by Dave Vandervoort that was produced out of the Titmouse Shorts effort. I saw the full film in animatic form several years ago, and was blown away by the animation and design. The short, which follows a schizophrenic pickpocket, has been screened at a number of festivals, and I’m guessing it will surface in its entirety on the web at some point too. The lucky few got a sneak preview of Freaknik: The Musical, featuring T-Pain this week, when Titmouse Inc screened it at an LA premiere. The rest of us will have to wait until Sunday night 11:30pm E/P on Adult Swim. Here’s another promo:

Freaknik: The Musical has endured a long, strange journey en route to its Adult Swim premiere on March 7th. This 60-minute special about the famed and now defunct music party in Atlanta, is the spawn of That Crook’d ‘Sipp, a series that had, at one point, a 6-episode order. The special was then announced for last Fall, and subsequently delayed until March. The Williams Street production stars T-Pain, Rick Ross, Lil’ Wayne and Andy Samberg, and it was animated at Titmouse in Hollywood:

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra hits theaters on August 7th, and in the run-up to the big release, Hasbro has begun rolling out an online, animated series titled G.I. Joe: Resolute. The series is currently exclusive on AdultSwim.com (which is nearly impossible to navigate), and after the finale drops on April 25th, the project will be prepped for a DVD release. The series was written by Warren Ellis (Transmetropolitan) and directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (Justice League Unlimited) at Titmouse Inc. (who just launched a brand new website!) Here’s the trailer:
