Michelin Man a Hero Along the Saddest Road

posted by Aaron

The second spot in the new Michelin Energy Saver tires campaign has been released, and it’s while not as powerful and cinematic, it’s a solid production. Here Michelin Man rescues animals from sure death along a freeway. Like the first spot, it was produced by Psyop and initiated by TBWA\Chiat\Day. The spot is titled Michelin’s Saddest Road.

McDonald’s Infectious Happy Meal Campaign

posted by Aaron

I’m surprised this European McDonald’s campaign hasn’t jumped the pond. This first dance video below is probably driving kids wild all over Paris, and I suspect it would do the same here in the States. They were directed by Laurent Nicolas from Passion Pictures Paris. The agency leading the campaign is TBWA\FRANCE.

Tiger Woods Gets Animated For Gatorade

posted by Aaron

Gatorade’s agency TBWA\Chiat\Day recently dragged Tiger into the animated woods. In this animated spot below, titled The Woods of Wisdom, golf god Tiger Woods is animated Disney-style to promote the Tiger brand of Gatorade. The series of spots (there’s 3) was directed by Rune Bennicke and Jean Perramon at Pepper Films. You may recognize Samuel L. Jackson’s voice – he plays the bear. (If you’re looking for the Chinese reconstruction of the Tiger Woods car crash – it’s here)

Holidays Are Animated For Apple – Again

posted by Aaron

In what seems to be a brewing tradition, the Get a Mac ads take a trip to stop-motion-town during the holidays. Last year we were sung into alliegance, while this year they trim a tree and meet a new fury friend. The 2007 spot was produced at Laika/House and developed by TBWA, and I suspect this year is no different.
