Rob Shaw at Bent Image Lab directed this spot earlier this year for Tetra Pak, the Swedish packaging company. Brett Superstar designed the characters, while Max Perleman and Eric Urban were the primary animators.
Swedish animation squad againstallodds, who are rep’d by XYZ, recently created this new, stylish CG spot for GIO Insurance. The ad, titled We Cover Details, is the first of two they created for the campaign, which was overseen by Leo Burnett, Sydney.
This spot for Sony Ericsson’s new motion-activated headphones takes a bit to kick into-gear, but it’s worth the wait. The ad was directed and designed by Kristofer Ström, while compositing and VFX were handled by Eric Buchholtz. The agency on the project was Top Dollar and the production was centered at Varelsen.
Andrés Rosas Hott at Sweden’s Fido directed this new animated spot for the German electric power company RWE. The CG spot, titled Giant, runs nearly 2 minutes in length, and the creative effort was led by the ad agency Jung von Matt.
Kristofer Ström, who created a hugely popular Minilogue music video in 2006, recently produced this mixed-media public service piece for the city of Göteborgs. Led by the Swedish agency Frank&Earnest, Ström and the studio Varelsen animated against live-action footage, a process detailed in a separate making-of video.
With a music video titled Dead, you’d expect it to be disturbing…. and it is. This is the first music video from the metal band absorbingthepain, and it was directed by Christer Hagglund at Atum Animation, which is based in Sweden.
The folks over at Fido Films in Stockholm animated these head pounding lil’ birds under the direction of Brian Lee Hughes, who works out of St Paul Films, for a product called Treo, which is a fast-acting headache effervescent tablet tube. Say that five times fast. This clever little ad serves the Treo brand brilliantly by using the innocence of familiar animated styles without beating the audience over the head with an overly complicated concept.
The ad agency responsible for the spot is Garbergs, also in Sweden, and check out Johan Egerkrans, who is the one who designed the birds.
