The ad agency Marcel recently lead the charge on a series of short ads for the French music school ICM. The stylish 10-second spots were directed and animated by Laurent Gillot and Aurélia Vernhes, graduates of Supinfocom. The campaign is titled Get The Rhythm.
Check out Vie d’enfer (Living Hell), a new CG short directed by Supinfocom students Romain Carlier, Sébastien Druilhe, Thomas Eid and Vincent Husset. I believe all 3 students have graduated at this point and moved on to work at Wizz in Paris. Below is the first 3 minutes of the film, which includes religious overtones, papercraft angels and a rather cute little devil.
With radiation on everyone’s minds these days, this haunting short produced at the French school Supinfocom will give you the heebie jeebies. It’s titled Chernokids, and the English-subtitle version was just released. It’s from directors Marion Petegnief, Matthieu Bernadat, Nils Boussuge, Florence Ciuccoli and Clément Deltour.
Hambuster is the 6-minute graduation film produced by five students from Supinfocom Arles. The CG film (produced in steroscopic 3D) takes a fresh look at food in a rather horifying way. Here’s a short segment from the film.

Anthony Vivien, Marc Bouyer and Max Loubaresse, three students who attended Supinfocom Arles in France, created this masterful short titled Salesman Pete. The voice-over work is wobbly, but everything else is pretty damn amazing. Settle in for a wild ride:

Cheat codes won’t help here – this is a video game you can’t control. It’s 8bits, directed by Valere Amirault, Jean Delaunay, Sarah Laufer and Benjamin Mattern, students at Supinfocom. The story follows the structure of a “boss level” where our hero is trying to save the girl, but has to get through the big man himself first. It’s a nutty merger of styles, smashing CG animation with 8, 16 and 64 bit styles into one action-packed fight to the finish.
