Passion Pictures’ Dan Sumich recently helmed a new animated spot for Honda titled Cannonball Run. Fortiche Post Production handled the actual animation and modelling.
againstallodds, by way of Passion Pictures, directed this new 2D/CG spot for Coke’s answer to Mountain Dew – Mello Yello. The spot, titled Animated River Journey, uses Donovan’s track Mellow Yellow, set against a bayou/riverboat theme.
Director againstallodds, via Passion Pictures, guided this new spot for Turkish Airlines down the runway. They’ve created a complete civilization inside their logo, where pleasing the traveler is the singular goal. The CG spot is titled The Visitor.
Patrick Jean at Passion Pictures directed this new spot for Credit Confidential, titled Mural Man. I believe a good portion of this was painted on actual walls, while Yann Benedi and Celine Desrumaux (Celine & Yann) provided the character designs.
The Lost Thing, which is up for Best Animated Short at this month’s 83rd Annual Academy Awards, is now online. The 15-minute short was directed by Andrew Ruhemann and Shaun Tan and it focuses on “a boy discovers a bizarre looking creature while out collecting bottle tops at the beach.” It was produced by Passion Pictures Australia and Screen Australia.

Back in August, we featured an animated installment of a pub quiz for J20, a new soft drink by Britvic. Here’s the latest, which was directed by Dan Sumich at Passion Pictures. The series airs during Big Brother in the UK, and this one is title Puss in Boots.
