This past Saturday, ABC Family aired a new original holiday special. A Miser Brothers’ Christmas, which was animated at Cuppa Coffee Studios, was produced by Warner Bros. Animation. The 44-minute special is a sequel to the 1974 stop-motion film The Year Without a Santa Claus, which introduced the Miser Brothers. Dave Barton Thomas directed and the music was composed by my good pal Will Anderson. I watched it over the weekend, and the production quality it very faithful to the original. Directors Rob Shaw and Sol Burbridge at Bent Image Lab recently brought 3 new holiday season spots to life for Alltel Wireless, America’s largest wireless network. We revisit The Sales Guys and Chad, who have been hosting Alltel spots for some time now, including the holiday ad from last year. The creative was overseen by Campbell-Ewald. This spot is titled Letters to Santa.
