Some new clips from The Amazing World of Gumball have emerged. The 2D/CG series, which will air on Cartoon Network, was created by Ben Bocquelet. Here’s a clip in which Darwin and his pals get hooked on karate. Adventures begin on May 9th.

After years of development and production, Ben Bocquelet’s new series The Amazing World of Gumball is coming to Cartoon Network on May 2nd, 2011. The series originated out of Cartoon Network Europe, and was produced by Dandelion Studios Ltd, Boulder Media Ltd and Studio Soi. The show centers on a cat named Gumball Watterson and you’ll see a mix of traditional and CG animation throughout. Here’s a sneak peek:
