MTV just ripped a page from the Jem animation guide to help us all keep the creepy crawlies from invading our bathing suit areas. I’m talking about wicked plagues like herpes and AIDS, and to help stave them off, the team at Parasol Island have crafted this animated PSA for the germany MTV market. It’s titled Sex Is No Accident:

The German-based directing team known as weareflink recently animated a series of spots for Bosch home appliances. Here’s one titled simply Cow.
366 Tage (366 Days) is a film about a paramedic who sees patients’ needs with fresh eyes. Their diseases and medical issues are one issue, but loneliness is their true problem. It’s the CG graduation film from Johannes Friedrich Schiehsl, who has been attending Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. Here’s a trailer:

The German stop-motion shop TRIKK17 has produced an animated short starring Rosalie and Truffle, a pair of lovestruck pigs made popular in Katja Reider’s books (and illustrated by Jutta Bucker). Here they set sail on the doomed Titanic!
For the 10th Tribeca Film Festival, which begins on April 20th, the programing team is including an animation collection. The assembly of films is being presented under the title All You Can Eat, and it includes Dancing Squirrel’s film A Lost and Found Box of Human Sensation.
