Supinfocom student Juliette GrandJonc has released her one minute movie, titled Le General. This dialog-free piece introduces us to a weary war general who is nurtured back to health by a kindly farmer. Very stylish:
On the heels of A Town Called Panic, the 2009 stop-motion film you simply must watch, Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar have adapted, along with Benjamin Renner, Gabrielle Vincent’s book series, Ernest and Celestine. The 80 minute, 2D feature will soon screen at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, and the producers have uploaded a number of French-language clips from the film for your previewing pleasure. You’ll see beautiful water-color world inhabited by bears, mice and lots and lots of candy.
