Framestore Spins Out DJ Hero Intro

While it’s likely nothing this year will best the intro to Beatles: Rock Band, this new intro cinematic for DJ Hero is an entertaining piece of CG animation. It was directed by Marco Puig via Framestore.

Kia Hands Over Soul to Framestore

For their compact SUV the Soul, Kia turned to director Tarsem and visual effects house Framestore to put a pack of hamsters behind the wheel. Creative agency David&Goliath drove the creative.

Framestore Electrifies Super Bowl Scarecrow

What do scarecrows, football and electricity have to do with eachother? Nothing! But that shouldn’t stop you from watching this new animated ad from General Electric, who plunked down $3 million to see it screened during Super Bowl 43 this Sunday. The ad, titled Scarecrow, was conceived by BBDO, and executed at Framestore by Traktor. The song is If I Only Had a Brain from the the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz.

Framestore Open For Business With Despereaux

The Tale of Despereaux, the new CGI-animated film from Universal Pictures, hits the theaters in 2 weeks. This is feature film debut for the European studio Framestore. The film, which is directed by Sam Fell and Rob Stevenhagen, is based on the Kate DiCamillo book of the same name, and stars the voices of Sigourney Weaver and Matthew Broderick. Here’s the trailer.
