Sure it’s a new year, but Dr. Tran is getting screwed with like he has for years now. In this new episode, titled Nail to the Gut, poor Dr. Tran puts on more costumes than a contestant at the Lil’ Miss Cutesy Pie beauty pageant. As usual, the episode was created by Breehn Burns and Jason Johnson, and animated by Mark Salisbury.
The new Dr. Tran Mail has arrived in your computer’s mail slot. It’s titled Keith Cares, but I think we can offically call this The Boner Episode. Big props to series creators Breehn Burns and Jason Johnson – and to artist/animator Mark Salisbury who must have 4 arms and 6 secret animation assistants hiding in his closet. More Dr. Tran awaits you over at Mondo Mini Shows (boner not included).
In the 5th Dr. Tran Fan Mail episode, titled Time Machine, our eyes are opened to what appears to be parellel dimensions. Gasp!
For years, scientists have believed cocaine contains vitamins, but now we have proof. In this 4th Dr. Tran Mail episode, series creators Breehn Burns and Jason Johnson reintroduce us to Hotel Soap, the cocaine-loving cleaning product with lovely, perfumed balls.
You probably spotted Breehn Burns and Jason Johnson’s call for fan mail from Dr. Tran earlier this month – well, the first reply has arrived. Dr. Tran Mail – Murder List answers a question from Anthony in Ohio:
Send you questions to tranletters@gmail.com
Dr. Tran isn’t just an international action hero – he’s also an amazing reader! Okay, that’s not entirely true. Dr. Tran can’t read, but he’s gonna have to learn because you’re going to send him Fan Mail. That’s right – send Dr. Tran your questions at TranLetters@gmail.com and yours might be chosen to be part of the next Dr. Tran Mail short.
At Spike and Mike’s 2009 Comic-Con screening, the latest Dr. Tran episode premiered. Fruit Hat is a twisted, gum-filled installment that’s been in the works for nearly 2 years, and it now awaits your eye lookings. Dr. Tran is the creation of Breehn Burns and Jason Johnson, and along with a whole slew of other animators, Mark Salisbury helped bring this one home in time for the big San Diego premiere. Me and my pal John Evershed at Mondo Media also helped with this one. Want some backstory on the chicken and his gum fetish? Watch more Dr. Tran here, and then go buy stuff.
