ABC’s 2009 holiday special Prep & Landing performed well for the network, notching a 5.8 rating, and then at awards time, the half-hour piece snagged an Annie award and a number of Emmys. So it should come as no surprise that ABC is rolling out a sequel, titled Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice. On December 5th, ABC brings back Wayne and Lanny, who are tasked with yet again saving Christmas. Here’s a trailer for the film Kevin Deters wrote and directed.

On November 1st, Cars 2 hits DVD, which will include a bonus Toy Story short – Not In Hawaii. Directed by Gary Rydstrom (Lifted), the short starts off with Bonnie forgetting Ken and Barbie as she embarks on her Hawaiian vacation:

Disney offered a lucky few at the D23 Expo a peek at the upcoming video-game orge now known as Wreck-it Ralph. In previous iterations, the long-gestating project has been called Joe Jump and Reboot Ralph, and they promotion team is playing it smart and releasing an old-school video game teaser version that mashes together Donkey Kong, Rampage! and Mario Bros. Disney/Pixar just released a new promo clip for Cars 2 which spoofs a number of popular US-market TV series, like Law and Auto: SUV, Dancing With The Cars, Dr. Fill It Up and American Idle. The CG sequel is in US theaters on June 24th.

Here’s a full minute from the upcoming Disney/Pixar sequel Cars 2. It’s from a race in Japan, and it features the vocal stylings of John Turturro as Francesco Bernoulli, the Italian car. Cars 2 is in theaters on June 24th.

I was starting to wonder when stop-motion master Patrick Boivin would resurface, and then today we get this…. a Cars 2 trailer created entirely out of Lego pieces. Brilliant stuff, which was commissioned by Disney/Pixar and the team at Lego.
