Sixty40 Throws Campaign a Bone

Sixty40 recently animated a campaign to raise awareness and money for the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home. The innovative campaign, which features an interactive outdoor screen that is triggered by donation texting, was developed by M & C Saatchi. Check out the website, or watch Frankie’s first trick:

Animated Wall Comes to Life

Australia’s Georgina Edwards spent 8 days painting over 200 images on a wall to create this short. It’s along the lines of Blu’s phenomenal short MUTO, which became a YouTube phenomenon earlier this year.

Robertson Pixelates Devil Eyes

Australian Paul Robertson has fascinated us with his pixel art animation before, with his non-stop-action film Pirate Baby’s Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006. With a new music video for the band Qua, Robertson shows that his style adapts to the down-tempo electronic music. The song is titled Devil Eyes, off the album Painting Monsters On Clouds.

Iloura Composes Honda Jazz Spot

The Honda Jazz gets the animated treatment in this Australian-based CGI spot titled London. The Scott Lambert was the creative director on the ad for Draft FCB in Melbourne. The animation direction was handled by Glenn Melenhorst at Studio Iloura.

Coke Zero Says Trust Your Buds

For their Australian TV campaign, Coke Zero turned to The White Agency to produce a series of animated spots. Trust Your Buds is the name of the campaign, which features various body parts, including the tongue, the eyes and the brain. In this spot, the brain lays the smack down.
