Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole returns to Adult Swim on January 8th of next year for a second season. Helping hype the next batch of 10 episodes, series creator Dino Stamatopoulos is refreshingly self-deprecating and somewhat critical of the inaugural season in this behind-the-scenes assembly that takes us to the show’s new home at Starburns Industries.
On haitus since March, season 5 of Robot Chicken reconvened last night on Adult Swim with an all new episode titled Beastmaster & Commander. Here’s a sampling of clips from the remainder of the season:
The brilliant Brad Neely has officially been granted an Adult Swim series. He’s worked with Adult Swim in the past, after his 4-part miniseries China, Illinois aired on the network back in 2008, but now he’s got the greenlight for a full series which is being animated at Titmouse. Now titled China, Il, the show centers on Frank and Steve Smith who are “brothers who teach in the history department of a state university in China, Illinois. They also happen to be legends in their own minds who will often sacrifice facts, lessons and syllabi for the sake of being awesome.” The madness we are about to witness can be previewed in the original 4-part miniseries below:

New episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force begin on May 8th, the beginning of season 8. As you may have seen in season 7 finale, the series creators, Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro are playing around with the cast becoming detectives, which was the original idea behind the show. In fact, as you can gather from this video below, the show may actually be getting a new name – Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1.
