Most video games have taken the 3D animation route, but this Nintendo DS game took the 2D path and scored. The puzzle game Professor Layton and the Curious Village was developed by Level-5, and released last month. The animated interstitials were produced by none other than Production I.G, the anime studio behind hits like Blood: The Last Vampire and Ghost in the Shell.
