Insheeption is the title of tonight’s all-new South Park episode. It’s hard to tell if it’s just the title of the episode that parodies Inception, or it’s actually part of narrative. It does appear to riff off the A&E series Hoarders, which I find almost too difficult to watch, and I’m no neat freak. We also get a glimpse of what Mr. Mackey was like as a 4th grader. Here’s a very short clip from the episode, which airs tonight on Comedy Central at 10pm / 9pm Central.

Not sure if you’ve noticed, but Cartoon Network is slowly turning back into a cartoon network. The release of Adventure Time, MAD, Regular Show, Symb-Bionic Titan and now Robotomy offers a glimpse into what I hope is the rebirth of an animated focus at the once all-mighty network. Robotomy doesn’t release until October 25th, but it’s full of some reasonably irreverent storylines. Originally titled Horrorbots, the series was created by Michael Buckley and Joe Deasy, and they brought in, Christy Karacas, one of the madmen behind Superjail! to co-EP and direct. It does seem to have a bit of that Superjail! chaos, minus the dismembered bodies. The series was produced and animated at World Leaders Entertainment, the home of The Venture Bros. Here’s a teaser:

Here’s the second episode of a new TV series project called Giant. It’s the creation of Celine&Yann, a duo comprised of Benedi Yann and Desrumaux Celine. In this episode, we meet the Sun, who has lost his ray beam, and tries his best to retreive it without rousting the city folk. Excellent character animation here:

This Sunday’s new episode of Family Guy, Welcome Back Carter, flirts with infidelity. Peter catches Lois’ father, Carter Pewterschmidt, having an affair. Gasp! Here’s a clip from the episode, which airs on Sunday at 9pm ET/PT on FOX.

I haven’t had a big, uncomfortable laugh at someone else’s expense in a long time. I know – it’s cuz South Park was on mid-season hiatus! Tonight at 10pm on Comedy Central, the guilty pleasures of South Park return with an all-new episode titled Poor and Stupid that sends Cartman to the speedways of NASCAR. Here’s a clip:

Tonight after South Park’s mid-season premiere, the 2nd half of season 1 of Devin Clark’s Ugly Americans begins. The series is officially kicking ass, selling to “UK terrestrial Five, CTV in Canada and SBS in Australia,” the first season was just released on DVD yesterday the program is reportly bringing in record pre-sales for this new season.
