People born during season 1 of South Park are just now getting their drivers’ permits. Damn South Park – you old! So begins the 16th season of the show that put Comedy Central on the map. Tonight we’re treated to Reverse Cowgirl, a show about pooping, toilets and the law. My guess is this episode takes on the contraception issues circulating amongst the Republican candidates.

Curious Pictures Delivers Animated Eureka Moment

The other night on SyFy, the entire cast of Eureka were transformed into animated versions of themselves for a Christmas special. Curious Pictures handled the design and animation, which reportedly spanned the gamut of styles, from anime, CG, traditional 2D and stop-motion, which you can see in the clip below:

Dino Takes Us To Frankenhole’s New Castle

Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole returns to Adult Swim on January 8th of next year for a second season. Helping hype the next batch of 10 episodes, series creator Dino Stamatopoulos is refreshingly self-deprecating and somewhat critical of the inaugural season in this behind-the-scenes assembly that takes us to the show’s new home at Starburns Industries.

Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown on FOX

Tomorrow night at 8:30pm ET/PT on FOX, we’ll be treated to a new Peanuts holiday special. Would you believe that this is the 45th special? It’s also the 1st not produced without the late Bill Melendez. The hour-long special, titled Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown, was produced by Wildbrain, the team producing HBO’s The Ricky Gervais Show and Yo Gabba Gabba!. The piece, which was adapted from comic strip material, was directed by Frank Molieri and Andrew Beall (who also provides the ‘voices’ of Woodstock and Snoopy). It’s also available on DVD. From what I’ve heard, FOX and the Schultz estate are closely watching how it performs tomorrow night, and imagining several more if an audience shows up. Here’s a clip:

South Park Sends The Poor Kid To Foster Care

Now it’s time to start saving up for a trip to NYC to see The Book of Mormon.
