Alchemy and Lunch Do Their Business For Scoop Away

The Toronto-based production companies Alchemy and Lunch produced this series of stop-motion spots for Scoop Away cat litter. Eric Makila and Jamie Webster direced, and DDB San Francisco was the ad agency leading the creative. Here’s one titled Beach.

Dadomani Prescribes Stop Motion For Italian Ads

I can’t take my eyes off these stop-motion puppets in these commercials below. The ads are for two Italian medicinal brands Rinazina and Bronchenolo, and the production company behind the effort was Milan-based Dadomani Studio.

Kuky Returns – Sverak’s Stop-Motion Story

Czech director Jan Sverak, who won an Oscar in 1996 for the beautiful, live-action film Kolya, is set to release a new stop-motion feature. Kuky se vrací (Kuky Returns) centers on a six year old boy who suffers from asthma and his favorite toy, a pink teddy bear named Kuky. The production was intended to last only 30 days, and stretched on for 100. The film is set for release on May 20th, 2010.
