PantoGraph Points Viewers to Google Chrome

There’s a nice little behind-the-scenes photo collection over on PantoGraph’s blog too. It’s titled Chrome Starts Fast.

Dwyer Leads the Charge on Turin Brakes Video

Harry Dwyer, a director represented by London-based 2AM Films, helmed this new stop-motion music video for the folk duo Turin Brakes. The track is titled The Sea Change, and Dwyer does an excellent job of giving life to the rigid military characters, ala A Town Called Panic.

Dutch Stop Motion Video is Grindin’

100% Halal director Rogier van der Zwaag moonlights as a DJ for the group Nobody Beats The Drum (along with Jori Collignon and Sjam Sjamsoedin). So it should be no surprise that he makes his own music videos, like this one below, titled Grindin’. And below that, check out the making of segment, which they shot at their studio in Amsterdam.

Polychronakis Completes Construction of The Village

Greek artist Stelios Polychronakis recently wrote, directed and animated a new stop-motion short film titled The Village. The story follows a doctor who rushes to an emergency, only to find the village empty. The puppets were crafted by the brilliant team at Mackinnon & Saunders. Here’s a trailer:
