I must admit, I am a huge dork for Flat Eric – I have the plush doll and regularly go back and watch the original music videos and Levi’s commercials that swept the web back in 1999. It doesn’t hurt that love Quentin Dupieux’s music. Dupieux, of course, is the man known as Mr. Oizo, the creator of Flat Eric and the French electronic musician. This acid-trip in pre-school clothing was created by This is It, “a collective of illustrators, animators, artists and designers based in London.” This short features puppets and some 2D animation, and it was directed by Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling. Green isn’t a creative color, stupid!
