This music video for Wintersleep’s track Fog was animated and directed by Mirco Chen, creator of other highly entertaining online shorts such as Sloth In The City (Episode one and two) as well as his peculiar submission to the Aniboom In Rainbows – All I Need Radiohead music video contest.

Using a combination of Flash & Photoshop to create the painted/textured style of the short, Mirco and his partner Scott MacDonald (who was the storyboard artist and backgrounds designer) developed a fairly unique look for this music video and the end result speaks for itself.

Scott has also created such online shorts as Turkey Legs, the amazing folk tale of a boy among men.

Devin Flynn, creator of Ya’ll So Stupid, and director of Dance Floor Dale has directed a music video for The Alchemist called Lose Your Life.

He and his teammates Seth Cooper and Joe Kossuth completed the job in only six weeks! Devin has a raw style and some of the best ideas I’ve seen in animation. He was nice enough to answer a few questions for LineBoil about the video.

Bernard Derriman directed this music video version of The Akiapola’au Song, a track from The Big Green Rabbit series. Bernard had help from animators Andrew Collins, Lily Dell and Ian Harrowell.
