Sébastien Iglesias, a student at Supinfocom Arles, created this musically-driven CG short about a DJ and some beat-crazy birds. It gets really fun and abstract near the end, so watch it all the way through. It’s titled P-Jay.

Here’s a new music video for a track in the upcoming Moomins and the Comet Chase feature. The film was produced by the Finnish company Filmkompaniet.
The trailer for the film has been out for a while, but here’s another look:
Here’s a stylish looking music video from the children’s series Yo Gabba Gabba! The song is Dean & Britta’s Sometime We Win, Sometimes We Lose. Justin Fines designed the piece, and Andy Kennedy handled the character animation.
Darcy Prendergast employed a small squad of animated blobs to help tell a tale of love and attraction in this music video below. It’s for Sam Buckingham’s song Gravity, and Prendergast had help from Michael Greaney, Seamus Spilsbury and Josh Thomas on the animation.
Irina Dakeva at the Paris-based studio Wizz directed this music video for Breakbot. What’s interesting is that Breakbot, the musician, is also a talented artist and animator. You may recall the Henson-homage he co-directed at Supinfocom titled Overtime. Talent runs deep in this one. The track here is titled Baby I’m Yours.

The originals were directed by Jeff Hale, who animated on Heavy Metal, and directed on the original animated Transformers series and Muppet Babies.
Below are a pair of updates on the classic that were created for the Aniboom Sesame Street competition. The first, which won the competition, was produced by Florence Animation and animated by Rita Bozzo, Stefania Demichelli and Martina Prest.
This second one uses music from Perrin Cloutier of the band Beirut, and stop-motion animation by Abbey Luck.
