A new trailer for Sony’s upcoming CG feature, Arthur Christmas, is ready for unwrapping. It’s a co-production with Aarman Animations, who will deliver this new tale to theaters well ahead of Christmas – on November 23rd.
Aardman Animations’ upcoming CG feature, Arthur Christmas, isn’t far off. This Sony Pictures Animation release hits theaters on November 23rd in the US (November 11th in the UK). Here’s the trailer for the film that tries to answer the question “how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?”
In a continuing effort to lean on all things viral, the Puss In Boots marketing team rehashes the original Old Spice spot that started all the madness. Well nicely executed, this one feels a little late to the party.
In this new CG promo, Puss In Boots is recast as “The Most Interesting Cat in the World,” giving a nod to the long-running, iconic Dos Equis ad campaign.
Disney offered a lucky few at the D23 Expo a peek at the upcoming video-game orge now known as Wreck-it Ralph. In previous iterations, the long-gestating project has been called Joe Jump and Reboot Ralph, and they promotion team is playing it smart and releasing an old-school video game teaser version that mashes together Donkey Kong, Rampage! and Mario Bros. The upcoming live-action feature A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas includes some slick-looking stop-motion animation, which was produced by Laika. My guess is that Bent Image Lab handled this, and I’ll confirm as we get closer. In the clip below, they call themselves “claymated,” while I’m guessing no clay was used, but I could be wrong. It’s supposed to look like Rankin/Bass style animation. [spoiler alert] I read that in the full film we see “Harold and Kumar tripping off of psychotropic eggnog, being chased by an evil snowman down the streets of Manhattan.” The film is due in theaters on November 4th of this year.
The animated segment starts 1:15 into the trailer, and I’ve taken the liberty of jumping forward to that point. To see the full trailer, click here:
