Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted hits US theaters on June 8th, and below is clip that’s just been released. The GC feature was helmed by Eric Darnell and Tom McGrath, who directed the first 2, and they’re joined this time by Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2, Monsters vs. Aliens).

On the heels of A Town Called Panic, the 2009 stop-motion film you simply must watch, Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar have adapted, along with Benjamin Renner, Gabrielle Vincent’s book series, Ernest and Celestine. The 80 minute, 2D feature will soon screen at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, and the producers have uploaded a number of French-language clips from the film for your previewing pleasure. You’ll see beautiful water-color world inhabited by bears, mice and lots and lots of candy.

Aardman Unfurls Clips From The Pirates!

The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists (aka The Pirates! Band of Misfits) hits US theaters on April 27th, but the film sets sail for those lucky Brits on March 28th. The film, which is being directed by Peter Lord and Jeff Newitt, is based on Gideon Defoe’s book series, and is being produced by Aardman Animations. Here’s a clip:

ParaNorman Trailer Scares Up Too Much Story

I won’t give away any plot details for Laika’s upcoming ParaNorman, but this trailer sure will. You’ll have to decide if you still have the need to see the movie after witnessing every single story beat in the 2:30 minute cut. What’s new, right? Trailers typically give away too much. The good news is – the film looks great. Some funny dialog, and John Goodman has re-discovered the rage he expressed in Barton Fink. The stop-motion film arrives in August.

The Brave Looks Like a Bullseye For Pixar

With the smoggy aftertaste of Cars 2 still clouding the air, the antidote arrives. This 2:30 minute clip from The Brave should renew your faith in Pixar, who, to be fair, have almost never let us down. In this clip, you’ll meet Merida, who can simply not contain herself as the men compete for all the glory. With the time period and the accents, it’s hard not to feel like we’re watching a sequel to How To Train Your Dragon. The feature will not arrive soon enough – June 22nd in US theaters.

Here’s a short clip from Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax that highlights the budding relationship between the movie’s central characters, Ted and Audrey (characters named after Theodor Seuss Geisel and Audrey Geisel, Dr. Seuss’ widow). The film features a cast that should bring in the desired audience – namely Zac Efron and Taylor Swift. For those no longer bothered by acne, you may enjoy the performances by Daily Show alums Rob Riggle and Ed Helms. The CG feature was produced by Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me), along with the French company Mac Guff, which was recently purchased by Illumination. The film hits US screens on March 2nd.
