Psyop and Smuggler have teamed up to deliver yet another CG Fanta spot. This one is a short, music-driven piece titled Turntable. The agency on the job was Ogilvy & Mather, New York.

This actually arrived a few months back, but I just spotted it on yonder web. It’s a musically-driven, stop-motion promo for the Toyota Prius, which asks what is the plural of ‘Prius?’ Animation by Hunter Gatherer, direction by Todd St. John.

Jake Banks directed this new animated spot for Adidas featuring a rotoscoped Dwight Howard, the Orlando Magic star. Inspired by the A-ha music video for the track Take on Me, the team at Stardust helps introduce the new Adidas shoe called ManChild. Full credits below:

James Calvert at PRA (The People’s Republic of Animation) directed this new promotional spot for the upcoming multi-platform video game de Blob 2. This CG piece is titled Air Traffic Controller.

Last week’s VW spots arguably ruled the Super Bowl, with the Darth Vader spot making a massive impact (25 million views in a week?). We featured the excellent Black Beetle spot, which was animated at The Mill in London. Deutsch LA released a behind-the-scenes piece yesterday that illustrates the painstaking effort that went into the ad.

Nexus and Framestore London were the muscle being Coca-Cola’s Super Bowl Siege. This new epic spot was directed by Fx & Mat, while Mike Mellor at Framestore lead the animation charge.
