Brazilian studio Vetor Zero animated this new soccer-themed CG spot for Coca-Cola. The ad, titled Gols, was directed by Guto Terni and Nando Cohen.

Disney offered a lucky few at the D23 Expo a peek at the upcoming video-game orge now known as Wreck-it Ralph. In previous iterations, the long-gestating project has been called Joe Jump and Reboot Ralph, and they promotion team is playing it smart and releasing an old-school video game teaser version that mashes together Donkey Kong, Rampage! and Mario Bros. The latest teaser from the upcoming DreamWorks Animation feature Puss In Boots, which has spun out of the Shrek series. The CG feature arrives on November 4th of this year, and it was directed by Chris Miller (Shrek the Third).

Tod Polson is having a big year. He’s announced his Maurice Noble book, and he’s also touring with a new animated short. Escape of the Gingerbread Man!!! is a CG short that includes some very delicious-looking 2D elements. The 12-minute short has already taken home some prizes, including a Jury Runner-Up award at this year’s SIGGRAPH festival. Polson worked in conjuction with The Monk Studios and Denmark’s Animation Workshop. Here’s the trailer:
