Remember Yum Yum’s CG short Parallel Parking? Excellent timing, exquisitite production design, and a satisfying ending. Their second short, titled Happy Food, introduces more over-sized edibles while continuing to deliver the gorgeous environments and characters we’re now expecting from this UK team. You can actually pre-order some of the characters you see in the short as vinyl toys over on their store.

Animation Fundraising – A Cautionary Tail

I’ve been following the Kickstarter fundraiser for A Cautionary Tail, a new CG film from Sam Rippingale. He’s pulled together a cast that includes Academy-Award winning actress Cate Blanchett, and as you’ll see in the clip below, they’re using hand-made miniature sets in the production.
