Scharf Navigates Through The Forest

posted by Aaron

The Forest is David Scharf’s powerful graduation film from the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. The story follows Antonia, a rebelious 12 year old who sees schools as “mind prisons” and shuns the corporate marketing machine – favoring the serenity of nature. The 4-minute CG project was written, animated and directed by Scharf, and he had help from André Ljosaj on character design. The audio experience, accented by Javi Otero and César Meler’s music and sound design. is excellent.
