Legacy – the Studio Behind LeBron and Kobe Puppets

posted by Aaron

The NBA playoffs are just top-notch this year, and even if you don’t enjoy a little roundball, you can dig on these Kobe and LeBron puppet spots for Nike Basketball. We posted a pair a week back, and two more are now airing, titled Mrs. Lewis and Unstoppable Game Tape. Over at puppetvision.info, we learned that they’re produced at Legacy Effects, which was previously called Stan Winston Studio (renamed after Winston’s death). David Allen Grier handles Kobe’s voice, while Kenan Thompson plays LeBron.
